# YouCanBookMe (Public)

> Integrate your application with the unauthenticated YouCanBookMe booking API

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to YouCanBookMe's public booking API with Nango — no credentials required beyond your booking page's subdomain.

    In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *YouCanBookMe (Public)*.

    Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Authorize*, then enter your booking page subdomain. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

  <Step title="Call the YouCanBookMe API">
    Let's make your first request to the YouCanBookMe API (create a booking intent). Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections), and your subdomain:

## API gotchas

* **There is no authentication for this API** — the booking-intent endpoints (availability, booking, cancellation, rescheduling) are public. For the authenticated/admin side of the API (e.g. `/v1/profiles`), use the separate [YouCanBookMe](/docs/api-integrations/youcanbook-me) integration, which uses Basic auth (Account ID + API key).
